Tonbo BNVD-P
The BNVD-P is Tonbo Imaging’s panoramic night-vision system, using four image-intensifier tubes to provide a field of view substantially wider than conventional dual-tube goggles.
Technical basis
The panoramic architecture is designed to preserve peripheral awareness while helmet mounted. That matters when an operator must watch terrain, teammates, threats, and movement at the same time rather than viewing the world through a narrow tube.
In The Mine
MARCOS operators use BNVD-P goggles during the nighttime maritime insertion at Kismayo. No fictional capability is required for the Book Six appearance.
