LANIUS-X X20

The LANIUS-X X20 is Elbit Systems’ compact indoor member of the LANIUS-X tactical drone family.

Technical basis

Introduced publicly in 2025 alongside the larger X200, the X20 is intended for confined urban environments. The family combines day/night imaging, modular payloads, networking, and operator control for reconnaissance and tactical employment inside complex structures.

In The Mine

Indian Navy MARCOS carry an X20 during the seizure of the CSRC complex at Kismayo. Its small size and indoor specialization allow the team to project a sensor and controlled payload into a barricaded interior space before exposing another operator.
