Technical basis

The operational KC-46A combines a fly-by-wire refueling boom, hose-and-drogue capability, defensive and communications systems, and a reconfigurable cargo deck. In The Holy Land, a Saudi KC-46 tops off Saber-Five before the escort flight enters Yemen, linking regional airpower to Saudi-produced synthetic aviation fuel.
