IC-90 Marshal

The IC-90 Marshal is the Indian Watchtower variant: a long-endurance airborne platform for surveillance, evidence collection, communications, command coordination, and precisely bounded force.
Technical basis
The parent airframe family is the Airbus A350. Its long-range widebody architecture, composite-intensive structure, efficient aerodynamics, and modern electrical systems make it a plausible basis for a large persistent mission aircraft. Mature Marshals are purpose-built mission airframes rather than ordinary passenger jets with equipment added after delivery: power, cooling, apertures, sensors, mission stations, and reinforced systems are incorporated during construction.
Operational role
The Marshal supports ground units with persistent overhead sensing, translation and communications support, evidence recording, and a common command picture. In The Mine, an IC-90 supports the Somali-led Kismayo seizure while remaining outside the building-level tactical information loop; interior awareness comes from MARCOS cameras and captured facility feeds.
