Airframe and cabin
The G700 is a large-cabin business jet designed for extended international flights without sacrificing cabin flexibility. Layout choices can include separate living, dining, meeting and rest areas rather than a single open passenger section. Gulfstream’s Symmetry Flight Deck is an integrated cockpit environment with advanced display and flight-control systems.
Manufacturer-published performance
Gulfstream currently lists a 7,750-nautical-mile theoretical maximum range under specified NBAA IFR assumptions at Mach 0.85, a Mach 0.90 high-speed cruise figure with shorter range and a maximum operating Mach number of 0.935. These are published aircraft-performance conditions, not promised range for every loading, routing, temperature or aircraft configuration.
Operational design boundary
Business aviation performance depends heavily on cabin configuration, fuel and payload, weather, airport elevation, reserves and airspace routing. The G700 is an actual production design; its appearance decades later does not automatically imply fictional new engines, supersonic ability or unlimited range. Any future owner-installed communications are not part of a universal standard fit.
