Technical basis
The F-15 combines two engines, a large lifting body and wing, high thrust-to-weight ratio, long-range radar, substantial fuel capacity, and multiple air-to-air weapon stations. Later members of the family add advanced sensors, electronic warfare, precision-strike capability, and conformal fuel tanks. In The Holy Land, Israeli F-15s escort the French A400M carrying the ISAA evidence team into Israeli-controlled airspace.
